Whether you’re looking for a holiday family-friendly event, live musical performances, or arts and crafts markets for last-minute gift shopping, there’s an event for you this weekend in Metro Vancouver.

Heritage Christmas in the City of Burnaby (Daily from 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm November 25th 2023 to December 23rd 2023 & December 26th to January 5th 2024)

Featuring a sitewide scavenger hunt, photos with Father Christmas, a carousel ride, fun games, beautiful lights, and more, this is the perfect family-friendly event to enhance the holiday season. Also, if you’re stopping by between December 16th to December 22nd, be sure to check out the sleigh photo booth by presenting sponsor Concord Pacific, where for every photo taken at the photo booth, they’re donating $2 to Ryan’s Rainbow in support of immediate hunger relief in Burnaby.

The free (and pet-friendly!) markets are all about bringing together the community to support local artists, crafters, makers, and small businesses.

Live Music Nights at Red Truck Brewery (Every Friday & Saturday from 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm in December)

Enjoy live musical performances at the Red Truck Beer Company Truck Stop Diner every Friday and Saturday evening in the month of December.

Cirque du Soleil: KOOZA (Various Times until December 31st)

Unlike any circus you’ve ever seen, Cirque du Soleil transports you into its rule-breaking universe with the use of show-stopping acts, magnificent sets, exquisite costumes, and distinctly whimsical music throughout.

This year’s show, KOOZA, takes the audience on a journey through the eyes of The Innocent, who is a young, captivating clown finding where he fits in the world. The show features silks, double highwire walking, the infamous skeleton dance, and the wheel of death making it an unforgettable performance all around.

VanDusen Festival of Lights (Friday November 24th – Sunday January 7th)

This magical event highlights an illuminating light display along with tasty eats for the whole family to enjoy!

Bright Nights in Stanley Park (Thursday November 30th – Monday January 1st)

Returning to Stanley Park, the Bright Nights train takes you through a magical light display.

Vancouver Christmas Market (Various Times Thursday November 16th – Sunday December 24th)

The holiday market at Jack Poole Plaza is filled with delicious eats and drinks, Christmas karaoke, holiday vendors, artisan shops, a light display, a walk-in Christmas tree, and more!

Christmas at Canada Place (Friday December 1st – Tuesday January 2nd)

Take in the spectacular light display, including “Chrismoose,” which is the 15-foot-tall moose light sculpture, Sails of Light, and Avenue of Trees.
