Burnaby Village Museum’s Haunted Village (October 19-22 & 26-29 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
This year’s theme of Legends, Tales and Other Stories transforms the Burnaby Village Museum into a Halloween exploration. Costumes are welcome for this family-friendly outdoor experience.
Pumpkins After Dark (October 6th – 31st at Various Times)
Located at Swangard Stadium and Central Park in Burnaby, this outdoor event features over 10,000 hand-carved pumpkins, with beautifully lit Halloween displays, live pumpkin carving demonstrations, and fall-themed foods for the entire family to enjoy.
Halloween Carnival at Roundhouse (October 31st 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm)
The perfect kid-friendly spot to visit on Halloween, with spooky games, crafts, and a “Creepy Hollow” forest to explore.
Halloween Pumpkin Carving at Roundhouse (October 24th from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm & 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm)
Create your very own jack-o-lantern at Roundhouse Community Centre!
Pie Eating Contest & Pop-up Shop with The Pie Hole (October 21st from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm)
Calling all pie-lovers, this is the event for you. As a part of Burnaby Halloween Festival, The Pie Hole is hosting a pop-up shop and (pumpkin) pie eating contest at Metropolis at Metrotown.
Fright Nights at the PNE (October 6th – 31st at Various Times)
Haunted houses, spooky treats, and hair-raising rides make Fright Nights a thrilling evening.
Spooky Halloween Bash (October 28th 10:00 am – 12:00 pm)
Costumes are welcomed at this Spooky Halloween Bash at Trout Lake Community Centre, featuring arts and crafts, a bouncy castle, a haunted house, and Halloween games!
Halloween Party at Pacific Arts Market (October 29th 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm)
This party showcases a variety of talented local artists and makers and includes a Halloween photobooth and face painting!
East Van’s Haunted Pumpkin Patch (October 22nd from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm)
This free haunted pumpkin patch is an experience for the entire family to enjoy!
Spooky Stich Halloween Workshop (October 29th 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm)
What better time to learn how to cross stitch than on Halloween weekend? No experience is needed for this introductory workshop, which will outline basic cross-stitch skills, techniques, and tips.
Canyon Frights Halloween Festival (October 13th – 31st 10:00 am – 8:00 pm)
Capilano Suspension Bridge Park’s Canyon Frights is thrilling family-friendly festival featuring lots of pumpkins, surprises, and Halloween-themed games.
Halloween Costume Paint Night (October 27th 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm)

The Vancouver Horror Show Film Festival (October 20th – 22nd Various Times)
This all-ages festival at Metropolis at Metrotown offers three feature films and two shorts’ blocks, a Q&A session with the filmmakers, and the VHS Talks Panel Series.
Halloween Festival of Frights at Douglas Park Community Centre (October 28th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm)
Suitable for children ages 0-8-years-old, the festival will have games, crafts, and treats for the community to enjoy.
